Steven P. Irving, D.M.D., M.D.
Dr. Irving is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon who received his education at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston. He received his Oral and Maxillofacial surgery training at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, and at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Medicine. Dr. Irving was assistant professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine (1980-1984), and began his private practice in High Point in 1984. Dr. Irving has an interest in all aspects of the specialty. Dr. Irving lives with his wife, Ellen, and son, Jeff, in High Point.
Gary J. DeSalvo, D.M.D., M.D.
Dr. DeSalvo is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnston, his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, and his medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He completed a general surgery internship and his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He has been in private practice with Dr. Irving since 1994 and has an interest in all aspects of the specialty including sleep apnea and complex implant reconstruction. Dr. DeSalvo lives in High Point with his wife, Denise, and family.
Robert M. Russell, Jr. D.D.S.
Dr. Russell is board eligible in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He earned his undergraduate degree in Zoology from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. After receiving his dental degree with honors from the University of Tennessee at Memphis, he continued his education at the Medical Center at the University of Tennessee where he completed a research fellowship and his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He lives in High Point with his wife, Allison, and family.
James R. Ragno Jr., D.M.D.

Dr. Ragno is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon who received his undergraduate education at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT. He received his dental degree from the University of  Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in Farmington, CT. He completed a one year residency in General Dentistry at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO and received his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. Dr. Ragno served as the assistant chief of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX (1993-96). He was Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for the one year Army Education in Graduate Dentistry program at Ft. Jackson, SC from 1999-2002. Dr. Ragno retired as a Colonel from the U.S. Army on July 1, 2002 and joined Drs. Irving, DeSalvo and Russell in private practice in August 2002. Dr. Ragno has an interest in all aspects of the specialty. Dr. Ragno lives in Colfax with his wife, Toni.
